This morning I have received the news from Janet that her brother Richard very sadly died yesterday very peacefully in Addenbrooke’s Hospital. He was 84. The family had taken it in turns to be with him 24 hours a day for the last week.

The funeral of Colonel Dick Shervington is due to be held on Tuesday 19th April 2022 at 1400 hours at St Mary’s Church, Stansted, Essex. CM24 8UB. And afterwards at: Bury Lodge, Stansted, Essex, CM24 8JS.
It is opposite the large school going out of the Village. 30 parking places have been reserved at the Gym next to the school. No parking at the School as they go back on Tuesday. There is parking at the Church but it is a very narrow lane – we hope to have parking help. Parking all along the road is fine.
