Professor Jack Simmons, sadly died on Sept 27 2021, and was born on 12.8.1934. He won one of the LCC scholarships to Bancroft’s School, and as you can see from the Times Obituary, had a very distinguished career. He was also Master of the School Freemasons Lodge in recent years, and often attended Old Bancroftians’ Day.
