It is with the greatest sadness that I pass on the news that Tony Thornes, OB, boarder, loving father and husband, fireman, accomplished sportsman, London taxi driver, fellow Arsenal fan (slightly lapsed) and lifelong friend to many of us lost his battle with cancer at the end of last week.
His funeral arrangements cannot yet be finalised, but it is expected to be in around three weeks. I will add details to this post when they are available.
He will be sorely missed.
