It is with real sadness that we share the news that Tina Clements (née Ghoshal), OB 1996-2003, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday 29th May, in the arms of her husband, Tom, following an almost 7-year fight with ovarian cancer.
Tina loved her time at Bancroft’s, and as well as excelling academically, she made the most of what the school has to offer, singing in many school choirs and establishing the Hindu Society and the annual Taal event.
After Bancroft’s, she went on to study Economics at the London School of Economics and had a hugely successful career as a Director at Deloitte in management consulting.
Tina’s legacy is etched into the interactions she had with so many people and the positive impact those around her have felt from knowing her. It’s a legacy founded on her incredible personality, energy, charm, cheeky sense of humour, and ability to connect with people. It is defined by the ways that she uplifted others and the light she provided, even when times seemed dark. We were so lucky to have Tina as our friend.
