With great sorrow and shock I have to announce the sudden and unexpected death of my brother David Austin.
He was at the school from 1975-1982 and went on to be MD of Cazenove Capital and had an enormously successful career and a loving wonderful family.
He died at his villa in Portugal with no previous illness or health concerns, last Thursday.
David was 57 and leaves behind his wife Angela and 2 daughters, Sarah and Elisabeth, both also old Bancroftians, as well as both parents, Keith and Maureen, myself, his nieces Charlie and Annabelle (also an OB) and nephew William and many, many others who will miss him beyond description.
