I am writing to let you know that my mother, Bridget Richardson, passed away on 21 October. Although my father retired as Head Master many years ago in 1985, she kept close ties with Bancroft’s OBs and valued the friendships. There is to be a service of thanksgiving at 11am Friday 3 December at St Mary’s, Shroton (DT11 8RF) (The church at Iwerne Minster is being renovated and so we will be in the neighbouring village church.) Afterwards there will be refreshments at the Abingdon Hall, The Chalk, Iwerne Minster, Blandford Forum DT11 8NA.
