YOUR GOLF SOCIETY NEEDS YOU
Calling all Bancroftian Golfers
2024 marks the Centenary of the first recorded Old Bancroftian Golf Society meeting and for nearly 100 years the OBGS has been promoting and arranging golf events for Bancroftians of all ages who enjoy the camaraderie of playing golf with fellow Bancroftians.
Events range from matches against the School, our local rivals, golf tours and for the low handicappers, entering the Essex Public Schools and the prestigious Grafton Morrish tournaments, which are Scratch foursomes competitions.
We are looking forward to the next 100 years and wish to increase both the number of playing members at all levels of golf handicaps to strengthen the Society both numerically and competitively in the Scratch competitions.
