Geoffrey Griffiths (OB 1937-1942), my elder brother, died on Thursday the 18th of October 2018.
On leaving school he moved into aircraft production and design at Handley Page, where later he worked on the design of the high speed, high altitude Victor bomber. Some of this design work was later incorporated in the design of Concorde. Later he moved into the world of computers and the development of computer aided design.
He very much enjoyed the world of opera and ballet, and he liked to travel the world with his friends at the Royal Opera House, and enjoyed their performances in many countries. He also enjoyed travel and had hill walking amongst his interests.
He will be sadly missed.
